Can I brag on a Small Business Today? - Southern Roots Boutique

Small Business Saturdays for the blog will be starting soon, but I could not wait until Saturday to share this Small Business with you!
Southern Roots Boutique, located at Shoppes at Legacy in Omaha, Nebraska. When I tell you that this shop has it right, I mean they have it right! Let me take you down my memory from last week.
I was out and about with a plan to meet local small businesses and see what makes them somewhere that a client would want to shop. I set out going to a few boutiques. This one took the cake!
It was a sunny hot day. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a "hello" and a smile from a lovely woman. The acknowledgment that I had entered the store was not the only part that was nice to see. She was not standing behind the counter looking bored, or talking about her weekend plans with a co-worker, or what she had for lunch that day. She was genuinely welcoming me into the store.
She let me walk around and look for a moment before approaching to see if there was something special that I was looking for. I told her I was not looking for something in particular, but was just checking everything out. She mentioned the sales and with a smile told me that she was there if I had any questions. She was also helping another customer at the time, but managed to keep us both happy and relaxed while shopping. She wasn't running around and making us feel like she was just fitting us in.
She was helpful. She was kind. She was exactly who I would want to take care of my clients. She wasn't pushy or overbearing. She didn't ask me 20 times if I was still doing ok. She was slowly building a relationship with me as a customer.
As I walked around the shop a couple of times trying to take it all in, I noticed this body oil. I tried some with the tester and instantly fell in love. I could not stop smelling my hands as I continued to walk around the store. It has a baby oil scent...with just a little bit of something special. Of course, I had to purchase it!
This boutique sells mostly clothes, but has some extras here and there like accessories & wall art for your home. The clothes are very fashionable and would be great for Senior Portraits or Family Sessions(Yes, that is a referral - go check them out!).
My body oil was wrapped in pink tissue paper and placed in the bag along with a Thank you card with their social media information on it (which sadly got misplaced prior to me taking these pictures).
You can shop their shop online if you are not in the Omaha area, but if you are in the area -- please stop in and check them out. Follow them on social media!
